The Rape Crisis Center prides itself on assisting individuals affected by sexual assault, including those in the underserved populations; the low income and deaf and hard of hearing. Within our strategic plan to grow it is our goal to provide counseling services.
The Rape Crisis Center's Signs of Hope Counseling Services was launched on July 1, 2009, and has licensed clinical social workers providing free counseling to low income victims of sexual assault. We also provide counseling to victims that are deaf and hard of hearing by a licensed clinical social worker certified in American Sign Language; currently this service is unavailable in Clark County. By providing counseling services to victims of sexual assault on a sliding scale we will be able to reach as far as our arms can stretch.
There are many ways you can help support The Rape Crisis Center's Signs of Hope Counseling Services.
Become a Founding Member of Signs of Hope Counseling Services. For $1,000 you can purchase one of 35 candles that will light the way. The Rape Crisis Center Board of Directors teamed together to purchase the very first candle. By becoming a Founding Member your name will be placed on a plaque so anyone passing through our doors will see that you are leading the way to a safer community.
How to Purchase a Candle
Make out a check or set up monthly payments. If you’re unable to pay for a candle on your own, build a team of supporters who want to help victims of sexual assault continue their healing.
Make a donation
By making a donation you are helping victims of sexual assault receive counseling to help them heal. Donations can range from $1 to $1,000 and every dollar counts.
